Cliffs’ has 100% ownership of Koolyanobbing and covers the mining operations at Koolyanobbing, Mt Jackson and Windarling.
Koolyanobbing is located approximately 420km north east of Perth and 50km north of Southern Cross. Mt Jackson is located approximately 80km north of Koolyanobbing and Windarling is 100km north of Koolyanobbing. Our lump and fine products are railed a total distance of 575 km to the Port of Esperance.
Koolyanobbing Alliance
In late 2007, Cliffs and BGC Contracting formed the Koolyanobbing Alliance, where Cliffs is responsible for infrastructure/utilities, all technical services and corporate support and BGC is responsible for mining, road haulage and processing operations. Koolyanobbing Alliance is not a legal entity, but rather represents a partnership between Cliffs and BGC.
