renewaFUEL

renewaFUEL's biofuel cubes have been tested using USEPA reference test methods and demonstrated substantial creditable reductions of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulate matter, acid gases and mercury compared to coal.

The biofuel cubes have positive energy and greenhouse gas balances, producing more than 35 times the energy required to collect feedstock, process cubes and deliver the products for use. When considering all greenhouse gas emissions from aggregation, transportation, processing and use, renewaFUEL’s products result in approximately a 97% of greenhouse gas emissions compared to coal.

renewaFUEL will build a next-generation biomass fuel production facility at the Telkite Technology Park in Marquette, Mich. Projected to begin operations in the first quarter of 2009, the plant will annually produce 150,000 tons of high-energy, low-emission biofuel cubes.
